This BIG BOY is in RUT.
His testosterone levels are
300% their normal. When
the Buck is like this, he can be quite dangerous to dogs, farm animals such as goats and sheep, and even humans. He will max-out at about
400 lbs. and could live to be
15 yrs. Hunting actually helps to make the herds healthier! Also, many  people feel sorry for the Deer because we humans, continue to build homes and plant landscape
in the wooded areas where Deer live. In fact, Deer thrive in this setting for the simple reason that there is now MORE FOOD available,
and the expensive landscape which is the new food source, is HIGHER IN NUTRIENTS than almost anything they can find in nature. This also helps the Doe to produce more and healthier fawns.  Averaging twins for her yearly output, she becomes fertile in late October. If not pregnant by late December, her body will repeat the process. There is even some recent evidence
to suggest that the Whitetail Doe will again repeat this cycle in March, if she did not become pregnant by the end of her second cycle, and if a few other KEY ELEMENTS
are present, such as three
or four consecutive mild winters.

As far as biologists know,
this almost continous fertility cycle has never been observed before!
